Job Description An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced dragline operator to join our dynamic and successful team. As an experienced operator, you will be highly motivated and come from a multiskilled and experienced dragline operator background, driven by safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Mine Services Supervisor, you will be comfortable performing the full range of mining tasks to achieve production targets in a dynamic and changing environment. When it comes to operating heavy mobile equipment, you will be flexible in your daily approach and enjoy working with people who share a continuous improvement focus.
You will be a strong team player; someone that is energetic and thrives on collaborating to enhance the way you deliver value, whilst focusing on your personal and professional development. Having worked in an open cut mining operation, you will be a good human who demonstrates self-leadership, a positive attitude, and an unwavering commitment to working proactively and effectively.
This role is a wonderful opportunity for you no matter your circumstance. We are only a one and a quarter hour drive from the beautiful Mackay hinterland and a two and a half-hour drive from Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands and have a diverse group of people at our operation commuting from multiple locations in Queensland such as Rockhampton and Townsville, to name a few.
