Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, you will:
Work dayshift, Tuesday & Wednesday each week from 7am to 1.30pmCarry out a range of domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environmentClean residents' rooms including ensuites, furniture and equipment, as appropriate, and communal and administrative areasEnsure common living areas, hallways and all other areas of the facility (including front entrance courtyards, verandas) are maintained in a clean, tidy, and safe conditionEnsure the safe storage, security and labelling of appropriate cleaning materials in line with the MSDS, and in consultation with the Residential Services Manager, while being aware of the environmental requirements of cleaning products and their disposalReplenish cleaning liquids and materials whilst observing safety proceduresReport stock shortages, breakages, building, equipment or furnishing defects promptly to the Residential Services ManagerThis opportunity is perfect for someone who is looking for work on a Tuesday & Wednesday from 7am to 1.30pm at our Mulgrave site.
Skills & experience Interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteers, patience, and an understanding of client services.
