Job Description
Acciona are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our expanding team. This role will be instrumental in the construction of a Desalinisation Plant project based in Alkimos. This position is ideal for candidates with construction experience.
The Project
The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1, the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year.
The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks.
Key accountabilities for the position
Ensure compliance with Document Control and Documentation Management Plan. Ensure accurate uploading and distribution of project related documents, records, and correspondence. Auditing, monitoring and 'self checking' of project document control and records management activities. Contribute to the development of control checks and document control procedures, ensure they are followed and report any issues. Ensure that TeamBinder and iTWOcx are being used as the primary system for communication and document management. Ensure all new revisions of drawings and documents replicated in and appropriately distributed in TeamBinder and iTWOcx. Awareness, promotion and monitoring of document workflows, including peripheral processes such as package reviews in TeamBinder and iTWOcx and document control to ensure understanding by the wider project team. Provide functional support to the document control and quality & completion management. Support the development and implementation of positive initiatives to enhance the working experience for the Alliance. Required Skills and Competencies
Ideally you will have a tertiary education and substantial experience operating in a similar role. Outstanding communication skills and an ability to build effective relationships across a large project team. Be someone who thrives in a fast-paced challenging environment with an ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve. Construction, mining or energy project experience highly regarded. What we offer
