About the role: UGL are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team on an ongoing basis working on a major Oil & Gas project.
Commencing ASAP, you will be working a 5/2 roster within Perth CBD, point of hire is Perth, WA.
Key Responsibilities: Update and maintain the Technical Query Registers.
Develop and maintain project-specific document numbering and naming procedures aligned with UGL and CVX requirements.
Manage a correspondence register to track incoming and outgoing project communication.
Ensure the timely transmission and receipt of contract document deliverables, including numbering and stamping.
Utilize the document management system for document deposit and retrieval in accordance with project protocols.
Maintain the project's document storage folder structure to meet project requirements.
Ensure accurate delivery of all daily, weekly, and monthly reports to clients in the required format.
Analyze and report discrepancies between planned and actual progress, highlighting areas of concern.
Assist in auditing project management systems to ensure compliance with documentation standards.
Support quality assurance efforts by organizing, retaining, and preserving all quality documents.
Work closely with Work Pack Engineers to compile project Work Packs that meet client and project standards.
Perform other document management-related tasks as directed by functional leads or managers.
About you: Proven experience in a Document Controller role, ideally within the Oil & Gas construction sector as a main contractor performing SMP and/or E&I scope.
Strong understanding of document control process, standards, systems and processes Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
