Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Document Controller to join our team in Wollongong.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and controlling all project-related documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
This role is critical to supporting our project teams and ensuring the efficient flow of information within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain document control systems and processes.
Manage the receipt, registration, and distribution of project documentation.
Ensure all documents are up-to-date, accurately filed, and easily accessible.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure document control requirements are met.
Monitor the review and approval process for all documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
Provide training and support to team members on document control processes.
Prepare regular reports on document control activities and status.
Perform regular audits to ensure document control procedures are being followed.
Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Document Controller in the heavy industry or a similar field.
Strong understanding of document control processes and standards.
Proficient in using document management systems and software.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing documentation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications in document control or a related field are highly desirable.
