About the role
This is an Expression of Interest for a Document Controller.
UGL Major Projects division is expecting significant growth for 2025 in Western Australia as we support large Building Services Projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for locals and those open to FIFO and DIDO roles. As a result, we have an Expression of Interest for Document Controller role.
Support the startup from a quality control perspective – working with project teams to develop workflows, review Quality Management Plan for client approval, development and implementation of Project Management System (PMS), etc. Assist in the review process for project documentation in line with project procedures. Assist in the review and maintenance of the Document and Records Management Plan. Train all users including Document Controllers, Engineers and Project teams in Teambinder. Be the Project Champion for any support/assistance/system updates/working with Teambinder and Quality teams. Be responsible for registration, filing, retrieval, disposition, and transmission of engineering documentation. Ensure that the Document Control procedure requirements are complied with and that facilities are maintained to ensure efficient operation of the document control function. Acquisition, recording, filing and distribution of relevant Australian and International Standards and Procedures. About You
Previous experience in document control in an engineering design office or related field. Any relevant tertiary qualification in related industry discipline preferred. At least 5 years minimum experience in the related field. Preferred experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects. Must have an Australian Drivers Licence. Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
