Classification: Medical Practitioner Level 5-11 (Registrar/Senior Registrar)
Period of Employment: Fixed term full time day work, 76 hours (+10 hours protected training time) per fortnight, effective 3 February 2025 for up to 4 years (24 months negotiable).
Location: Surgical Services - Urology, Royal Hobart Hospital
The Registrar is responsible for the day-to-day management of private & public inpatients/outpatients and provides afterhours emergency cover at the hospital as required.
Essential Requirements: General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration (where applicable). The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
