About the role
We're looking for a committed HR graduate to join VMCH in the internal Diversity and Inclusions team, where you will support the team's programs and initiatives and gain exposure to other functions within the wider People Services team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Implementing actions from the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Plan
Developing and supporting the Disability Action Plan
Coordinating diversity-related working groups and events
Ensuring compliance with legislative obligations
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive our diversity agenda
About you
You have big plans for your future and the determination and resilience to get you there! You're a natural people person, with excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly form positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
If you possess the following attributes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you:
You have a bachelor's degree in human resources (or related field) and demonstrated experience in implementing diversity, equity and inclusion related initiatives.
Warm and friendly in your approach, you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You also have strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Well-developed problem-solving skills, demonstrated initiative and sound judgement
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise effectively to manage competing demands
Outstanding attention to detail
Highly organised and able to keep track of outstanding items to provide timely reminders and updates
Intermediate skills across the MS Office suite and the ability to learn and adapt to changes in technology
