About the Role: A great full-time fixed-term opportunity exists for a District Support Officer to join a positive, supportive, and close-knit team at CFA based at our Chirnside Park office.
Key responsibilities of this varied role will involve:
Efficiently manage district/regional administrative requirements, prioritising key issues.Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external clients, including drafting correspondence and communications for managers and staff.Build and maintain professional networks and cooperative relationships with clients, ensuring timely, confidential, and professional responses to issues.Prepare documents such as letters, memos, presentations, reports, minutes, and briefing notes.Conduct research, gather, and collate information as needed.Manage diaries for managers and staff, coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, and appointments.Provide meeting support, including scheduling, agenda preparation, venue and catering arrangements, minute-taking, and follow-up actions.Perform data entry, filing, records management, and database administration.Support existing workflows and processes, ensuring compliance with CFA policies and procedures.Order and procure stationery and other necessary goods.Perform additional duties, including support for special projects.About You: You will be proactive and enthusiastic about joining a close-knit team, where you can utilise your diverse skill set across various tasks.
A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork, with excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone, being essential.
Adaptability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
Being self-motivated and ready to contribute wherever necessary is crucial.
Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities, coupled with a proactive and independent approach, are highly valued.
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly the MS Office suite, is required, along with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
