About the Role: Knauf is looking for an experienced Distribution Operator to join our supply chain team.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role is responsible for distribution activities through the daily operations of the Port Melbourne Distribution Centre, in accordance with the Company's strategic plans, operating budgets, procedures and policies.

Some duties include: Loading and unloading vehicles with a 3T and 8T forklift as part of goods inwards/ outwards processes Some manual handling to assemble loads as required Ensuring Chain of Responsibility requirements are met Participate in stock take functions and inventory control Maintain compliance to the Management System and relevant procedures Check and process orders with diligence and accuracy Ensure validity and compliance within our SAP system Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management Loading/Unloading pallet racking with high reach forklift.
Gatehouse duties and traffic marshal/load checking Requirements: Team player, attention to detail, time management and organization skills Forklift license and experience in large load handling (6m long plasterboard sheets) Physically fit & comfortable with manual handling Plasterboard experience preferred but not essential Preferred experience on 8T forklifts with 4 tynes Day shift (10am – 6pm) Excellent communication skills Enjoys working in a team environment Safety mindset and can do attitude On offer: Excellent hourly rate + OT Penalties Day & Afternoon shifts available Yearly Pay review 14-week Parental Leave (Primary Carer) High organic internal growth promoted within Great work life balance Please note, applicants must have entitlements to work in Australia, as part of the recruitment process, police and medical checks for security clearance pertaining to specific job requirements will be conducted for successful applicants.
