Dispatch/Packaging Manager

Our client, a national leader in the Food Manufacturing industry, are looking for an experienced Dispatch/Packaging Manager to join our Warehouse & Distribution team on a permanent full-time basis.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervises operating and warehouse staff and daily activities in designated key areas.
Allocates orders to staff to be picked, packed and dispatched in a timely manner at end of manufacturing line.
Works with drivers to ensure trucks are loaded and dispatched to schedule.
Ensures goods are booked in and dispatched with courier companies.
Communicates with customers and couriers.
Investigates and problem solves through issues.
Participates in stock takes as required.
Works with Inbound team to ensure picking bays and shelves are properly stocked.
Creates delivery documentation that accurately reflects the items ordered and shipped.
Assists the Warehouse & Distribution Manager and senior management as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:
Previous warehousing or logistics roles with team leadership experience.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems and ERP principles.
Effective communication and people management skills.
Strong analytical and process management skills.
Proficiency with domestic freight and logistics.
Ability to manage multifaceted stakeholder / supplier relationships in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Ability to manage a team.
Forklift license desirable.
Computer skills (Intermediate Microsoft Office).
