Job Description - Dispatch Officer (240001EX) Dispatch Officer As a Dispatch Officer, you will play a key role in facilitating the delivery of assistance services to RACQ members and customers. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and position internal and external service providers, ensuring efficient and high-standard customer service.
ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.Utilise superior verbal and written communication skills.Apply excellent telephone techniques to manage customer interactions.Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including empathy and active listening.Organise, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks, including scheduling, rostering, and target setting.Employ strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.Maintain good computer literacy, including systems, email, and internet use.Apply initiative to unusual or unknown situations.Handle interactions with internal and external customers over the phone in a commercial environment.About YouDetailed knowledge of RACQ and Fleet products, services, policies, and systems.Knowledge of Road Service Entitlements, Fleet services, Plus, Ultra, and general membership policies.Good knowledge of the location of Queensland cities and towns.Please Note: 50% of shifts for Dispatch Officers are required to be worked from Eight Mile Plains.
