Support Workers at AQA
As a Support Worker with AQA, you'll empower clients in their homes to be independent and fully participate in their community. You'll play a key role in helping them achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
Your day-to-day duties will include:

Personal care (showering, toileting, manual transfers, etc.)
Administering medications
High-Intensity Supports (e.g., bowel care, urinary and catheter care)
Domestic support (e.g., laundry, light cleaning)
Social support (companionship)
Community access and engagement

About You:
Experience in disability support work is helpful but not essential. The most important qualities are reliability and a genuine desire to connect with and support people.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, including experienced support workers, aged care workers, nurses, and those with no prior experience but a passion for caring.
Essential Criteria:

A deep commitment to providing respectful and reliable care
NDIS Workers Screening Check
Full Australian working rights
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for client visits
Digital literacy and a willingness to learn
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
Valid Working with Children Check
Evidence of at least one COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption
International Police Check (if applicable)
