It is important for all our care staff to demonstrate reliability and commitment as our clients rely heavily on them to assist them with daily tasks and activities.

The role may involve:

Personal care (showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance)
Manual handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility (wheelchairs or hoists)
Transportation and supporting social engagement
Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning

Our ideal candidate will have:

Professional or lived experience supporting someonewith a disability
Experience in providing high level care
Experience using a hoist
Flexible and good availability

Essential criteria:

An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person-centred support
Transferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approach
A valid driver's license
NDIS Worker Screening Check
The legal right to work in Australia
Current Police Check
Current CPR & First Aid certificate or willing to obtain
Excellent communication skills
A genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilities
