This role is specific for one of our facility in below mentioned locations who requires complex care such as peg feeding, stoma care 24/7.

Hours range from 10 to 30 hours a week depending on your availability and preferences.Driving between clients houses for shifts is required so access to a reliable car is a must.Our clients need reliable and consistent support workers.
You must be available at least 4 full days on an ongoing basis including weekdays (which is when most of our clients require services).Must have a reliable car and be a confident driver to assist clients to access the community (reimbursement for kilometres and tolls provided).We offer part-time roles to suitable staff after they have been with us for more than 6 months with a consistent roster of clients.About UsSovereign Lives is disability support service provider assisting people to live independently in the community.

Duties include all of the below tasks: Driving clients and running errandsAssist people to live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community, remove barriers and engage in a full lifeSome personal care including helping people shower, getting dressed and performing daily activities, laundry etc.Providing social support to people with disabilities and people recovering from mental health issuesAssist people with physical and psycho-social disabilities to remain independent in their own homesAssisting with light housework, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen, bathroomOccasionally provide therapy assistance to support the implementation of physical, speech, OT and psychological plans and strategies (as directed by their allied health teams)Assist people to get out and about in the communityAssist people get to and from appointments, fill in forms and apply for other supports like social housing, employment or other entitlementsHanging out and making plans to try new thingHelp with cooking and doing dishes, planning meals, groceriesKeeping clients company and providing positive social support and build confidenceReviewing and updating care support plansAt Sovereign Lives we believe that by supporting our workers to thrive, they will deliver the best supports to our customers.
