About the Role
We are seeking casual Disability Support Workers in Maryborough. Shifts are available in the early mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnight sleepovers, and active awake hours.
As our team expands, we're offering a variety of services, including community-based program teams, Supported Independent Living (SIL), in-home support, and community access.
In this role, you'll work either in groups or provide 1-on-1 or 2-on-1 support to adults or children with various disabilities. You'll prioritize tasks and create a supportive environment that fosters independence and personal growth. Other responsibilities may include:
Participate in community activities with our programs team, such as swimming, mini golf, arts and crafts, and more.
Support individuals with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with mobility and physical support, including the use of hoists.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry management.
Offer companionship and emotional support.
Keep accurate records of the support provided, including progress notes and incident reports..

What we are looking for:
Experience in disability supportor a related field (preferred)
Flexible availability for AM or PM shifts
Requirements The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain;
Valid drivers licence (P2 or open)
CPR and First Aid certificate
NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
Working with Children Check (blue card)
NDIS orientation module certificate
