Disability Support Worker

About this opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to assist our client living in Castlemaine on an ongoing basis.
Shifts are available on Tuesdays from 8:30am to 2:30pm, Saturdays from 9:00am to 11:00am & Sundays from 11am to 1pm.
Duties include light personal care, assisting with domestic cleaning & meal preparation as well as escorting clients to community events, shopping & appointments. You will be required to drive the client in your own car so you must hold a current Australian drivers license and have a reliable vehicle which is insured.

Requirements:

Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support or Individual Support. Student Nurses who are currently in their second year of studies may also apply.
Minimum 6 months of recent support work experience (or 6-8 week of placement experience for student nurses)
NDIS Worker Screening
Current first aid certificate
Reliable vehicle with insurance and Australian drivers license
Professional referees who can confirm your healthcare experience
