As a Disability Support Worker with Wise Healthcare, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or within a community setting.
Assisting with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasks.
Promoting social engagement and participation in recreational and community activities.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to ensure holistic care and support.
Documenting and maintaining accurate records of the care provided and any developments or changes in the individual's condition. Requirements Previous experience in disability support work or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility with work hours, including the potential for shift work and weekends.
