Mercy Connect is a not-for-profit Catholic organisation delivering a range of programs registered under the NDIS.
Our programs support people with disability to build skills and capability to ensure they can participate in leading a meaningful life.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for energised and engaging Disability Support Workers to join award-winning Mercy Connect Limited.
As a recipient of the Telstra Best of Business State Award, winning the Championing Health/Embracing Innovation, we have new and exciting services and programs to offer people with disability.
We are expanding and looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who have a strong interest in working with people with disability, including children and young adults.
The Role: As a Disability Support Worker, you will assist people who have a disability with daily living tasks and community inclusion and participation activities.
A wide range of tasks are undertaken in the context of supporting the person to maintain their mental and physical wellbeing, explore opportunities, and work towards agreed outcomes that are important to, and for, the person.

About You: Develop supportive working relationships with individuals and teamsGain the confidence, trust, and respect of Participants and colleaguesRecognise the importance of dignity and the rights of people with disabilityProvide support in line with Mercy Connect's mission and values, and comply with organisational policies, procedures, and NDIS Practice standardsDesired Skills and ExperienceAvailability for shift work on a rotating 4-week roster, including sleepovers, active nights, and weekends.A current driver's licenseWorking With Children's Check NSW & VICPlease click here to view a copy of the Position Description.
