About the Role Based in Bondi Junction, you will provide support to 2 women with psychosocial disability. To provide the best support, the successful candidate will have previous experience working with people with psychosocial disability or mental health conditions and be confident in working with behaviours of concern.

Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team on a permanent part-time basis, you will support people with disability in shared housing or in their own home, providing various supports including personal care and daily living. You can expect to work across a 24/7 roster.
Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the set rosters below:
55 hours per fortnight: Week 1: Mon 7-10am, Tue 2:30-8pm, Wed 8am – 4pm and Thu 2:30-8pmWeek 2: Mon 7-10am, Tue 2:30-8pm, Thu 3:30pm – 8am (sleepover) and Fri and Sat 4pm – 8am (sleepover)54 hours per fortnight: Week 1: Wed 7am – 3pm, Thu 3:30pm – 8am (sleepover) and Fri and Sat 4pm – 8am (sleepover)Week 2: Wed 8am – 4pm, Thu 2:30 – 8pm and Fri 8am – 4pmKey Responsibilities Follow person-centred support and behaviour plansFacilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activitiesMaintain thorough record keepingBuild positive relationships with clients, families and colleaguesAdvocate for client choice and controlSkills & Experience Experience working with people with psychosocial disability or mental health concernsPrevious experience working with behaviour support plansA current First Aid and CPR CertificateSuccessful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
