We are looking for experienced, reliable and empathetic Support Workers who want to make a difference by supporting our participants in achieving their goals and living their best life.
Hearth is looking for support workers in Bendigo 3550 and the surrounding area.

The role may involve: Assistance with community access and recreational activities Personal care (showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance) Manual handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility (wheelchairs or hoists) Transportation and supporting social engagement Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning Our ideal candidate will have: Professional or lived experience supporting and/or caring for a person with a disability Experience using a Hoist, PEG Feeding, or with Epilepsy Management Experience supporting people with Mental Health and Complex Behaviours Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to Hearth Essential criteria: An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person-centred support Transferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approach A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle NDIS Worker Screening Check The legal right to work in Australia Excellent communication skills A genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilities Ongoing support from a dedicated Relationship Manager, who is your central point of contact and committed to ensuring you are providing the best possible support A matching process designed to build long term relationships between support workers and participants Extensive online and personalised training as required Potential career development opportunities Flexible working hours to fit in with your schedule Attractive remuneration starting from $32.00 per hour plus super, penalty rates, and allowances.
