We build teams around every client, depending on each person's needs and preferences.
We partner with people with any type of disability who want to live independently in the community, and we love to make that happen!
Our clients may have physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, intellectual disabilities, or autism.
We're honoured that many of our clients rely solely on In Life for their essential support needs.
To do a great job, you'll need: Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to our values Experience supporting people with a physical disability, including manual handling Experience with PEG feeding is a bonus but not necessary Great patience and willingness to build rapport with clients Enthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals Full driver's licence and be willing and comfortable with driving clients' vehicles Willingness to work varied shifts, including sleepovers and day support Commitment to ongoing shifts (more than twice weekly) **Please note - when you apply you will receive an email asking you for some further details - please look out for it!
As part of our recruitment process, certain checks will be undertaken with your permission, including an NDIS Worker Screening Check that you must have before you can start work.
