How you'll make an impact Due to continuous and exciting growth, we're currently recruiting for multiple Disability Support Workers to join our team throughout Ballarat.
You'll be responsible for providing quality services and safeguards to our Participants with an emphasis on skill and capacity building to encourage independence and confidence for meaningful and active inclusion in society.
A day in the life as a Disability Support Worker with CareChoice, may see you supporting our Participant with: Building on individual strengths and enabling Participants to reach their goals.
24-hour complex supports Supported Independent living Community access and transport Domestic and Personal care The hours of work vary and include weekday shifts, evening, and weekend shifts.
Penalty rates apply on weekends, Public Holidays, after 8pm and after 12am.
About you As a passionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Worker, you'll have experience with providing quality care services, implementing behavioural strategy supports and building rapport with participants.
Ideally, you'll have a: Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent and minimum 12 months experience Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
NDIS worker screening check Employee WWCC Valid Driver's License with access to a comprehensively insured vehicle (desirable) Ideally available for overnight shifts and or Morning Shifts Employment with CareChoice is subject to satisfactory background checks which include Professional References, Employee Working with Children Check, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
