About You:
Hold a Certificate III in Community Services, Individual Support, Disabilities or similar
Australian Drivers Licence (P2 or higher)
NT Working with Children Check
NDIS Worker Check
Current First Aid & CPR certificate
The ability to work a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts as required

Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities to individuals with disabilitiesFoster a supportive and empowering environment that promotes independence and inclusionAssist clients in maintaining a clean and safe living space, including light housekeeping and meal preparationSupport clients in accessing community resources, transportation, and social activitiesAdminister medication and monitor health conditions, as directed by healthcare professionalsDocument and maintain accurate records of client progress, care plans, and any incidentsDemonstrate sensitivity and respect for cultural diversity, personal preferences, and individual needsCommunicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure continuity of careRespond to emergencies and crisis situations with appropriate care and interventionUphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality regarding client informationAdhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the well-being of clients and yourselfProvide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and nurturing relationship with clients
