Management (Information & Communication Technology) Details: The Office of the Work Health and Safety Commissioner, operationally known as WorkSafe ACT, is a fully independent office headed by the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Commissioner, who is the Territory's regulator. A planned program of work is currently being implemented to improve our operational efficiency and effectiveness. WorkSafe ACT is committed to cultural and organisational change to become a professional, modern, intelligence-led and responsive regulator.
We have an exciting temporary vacancy for a suitably skilled professional to fill the role of Director, Systems and Record Management within the Systems and Record Management team.
The Systems and Record Management team provides comprehensive system support services and ensures record management governance and compliance. They are responsible for developing and supporting ICT capabilities include the enhancement and maintenance of WorkSafe ACT systems.
In this role you will oversee system capability, information security, and record management governance. Leading a dedicated team, you will ensure compliance with the Territory Records Act 2002 and provide technical expertise to manage critical systems including Salesforce and Objective with exceptional customer service. You will be a member of the broader Senior Leadership Team (SLT+).

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Experience and/or knowledge of modern cloud-based technology platforms, particularly Salesforce and Objective, is highly desirable. Relevant degree, diploma, certificate, vocational or industry certificate in the IT network engineering field and/or relevant work experience is highly desirable. Relevant tertiary qualifications related to information technology, computer science, or associated field and/or equivalent industry experience highly desirable. Note: This is a temporary position available 3 February 2025 for a period of up to 12 months. Selection may be based on referee reports and written application only. This position will be in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill substantially identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
