Brief description of the Branch
ACT Heritage assists in the recognition, protection, conservation and celebration of the ACT's unique heritage places and objects. In doing so, ACT Heritage ensures the identification, assessment, conservation and promotion of heritage places and objects for present and future generations. Additionally, ACT Heritage coordinates the annual Canberra and Region Heritage Festival and administers the annual funding of the ACT Heritage Grants Program.
Brief description of the role and its requirements
ACT Heritage is seeking a temporary Director, Registrations and Engagement to lead and manage teams responsible for the administration of the Heritage Act 2004, delivery of heritage community engagement projects, and coordination of stakeholder engagement and consultation.

Notes:
This is a temporary position available immediately until 14 February 2025 with the possibility of extension up to six months. Selection may be based on application only. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, a combination of working from home, designated office-based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, and flexible start and finish times.
