Key leadership role, managing a high performing team for a key Government client Work within the iconic Rocks & Darling Harbour precinct Sydney CBD | Land of the Gadigal people We have an opportunity on offer for a strong, dynamic leader to join our Property Management team working with our major client – Placemaking NSW. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is pivotal to the account leadership of the portfolio, overseeing all property management and lease administration processes.
You will assume overall responsibility for the property management services across a very unique and varied mixed-use portfolio, maximizing value and minimizing risk for our client, as well as leading the PM team and fostering a culture of strong customer service for tenants, clients, visitors, and other stakeholders. The portfolio ranges from traditional retail and commercial leases through to hotels, pubs, marinas, and 99-year building or ground leases.
Here's a snapshot of your day: Assist the account General Manager in planning, organising, directing, and coordinating the delivery of service under the management agreement with Placemaking NSW; Develop, implement and monitor strategies to maximise portfolio performance; Setting of budgets, reforecasting and monitoring of variances against budget; Drive portfolio and account team performance to meet contracted KPIs; Manage and mentor team members to build a successful and influential team. Here are some of the strengths you'll possess and the background you'll need to be successful: Tertiary qualifications in Property, Economics or Finance with Certificate of Registration. Demonstrated experience at a senior level in commercial Property or Asset Management, ideally with a retail focus. People leadership experience with the ability to engage and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong, effective working relationships with clients and colleagues. Confidence and maturity in communication skills, including excellent written and oral presentation skills. High level of commercial acumen, financial aptitude, and analytical skills.
