Key Accountabilities Lead and guide the project team, providing strategic direction, insights, and advice to achieve objectives.
Engage and motivate stakeholders to meet milestones, ensuring clear communication of goals at all levels.
Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, change management, and risk mitigation.
Maintain strong vendor relationships, track project scope, and manage changes, while resolving conflicts and dependencies.
Monitor team performance, set goals, and conduct reviews.
Define project success criteria, ensuring they are shared with stakeholders and measured effectively.
Develop scopes of work and technical specifications, preparing detailed budgets and ensuring cost tracking aligns with approved financial processes.
Apply EVM methodology and seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Maintain project documentation and reporting through the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system.
Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance, Environmental, Health, and Safety (QA/QC, EHS) standards.
Identify risks and issues, implementing strategies to mitigate them.
Report project progress, costs, risks, and outcomes to relevant teams, ensuring the smooth flow of information across all stakeholders.
Commitment to mentoring and developing team members for professional growth.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
PMP certification or equivalent, with knowledge of PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies.
Over 10 years of project management experience, with a proven track record in establishing and executing project frameworks.
Strong understanding of structured project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PMBOK 6th Edition).
Experience leading medium to large project teams and delivering software infrastructure projects, particularly in logistics or similar industries.
Ability to apply IT engineering principles to review and challenge designs and applications.
Strong technical management skills with hands-on project experience.
Proficient in data analysis, scheduling, and reporting (MS Office, AutoCAD).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Expertise in budget preparation and cash flow monitoring.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
