We are looking for a seasoned Project Management professional with a passion for growth and a proven track record in business development to join a well-established Project Management consultancy with a solid reputation across New South Wales. Are you an experienced and motivated Director ready to lead their expansion into Queensland?
As Director, you'll be the key player in establishing and growing our Queensland presence, reporting directly to the Managing Director and acting as second in command. Your role will be instrumental in delivering high-quality project outcomes across government and private sectors, with a focus on Health, Aged Care, Education, Hotel, and Commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Growth : Build and expand our Queensland operations, including identifying and winning new business opportunities. This will require a strategic plan that you will build alongside the MD of the business. Client Relationships : Leverage your existing network and cultivate new relationships with key stakeholders across government and private sectors. Strong connections with Governing bodies are strongly desirable. Project Delivery : Oversee the delivery of diverse projects, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality, timeliness, and budget. Leadership : Develop, build, mentor, and lead a team of Project Managers, fostering a high-performance culture. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Project Management, ideally within a consultancy environment. A contractor background is also desirable, but recent consultancy experience is a must! Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Strong industry connections within Queensland's construction market. Proven experience in business development, with a track record of winning projects and driving revenue.
