Reporting to the Executive Director Infrastructure Services, the Director Project Delivery will provide strategic planning and project oversight across asset management within our organisation. The primary responsibility of this position is to lead and manage development projects, ensuring the successful delivery of capital works initiatives. By strategically aligning projects with organisational objectives, the incumbent will enhance the commercial and financial performance of our property portfolio.
This is a Full Time Permanent vacancy.

Role & Responsibilities: Devise, negotiate, execute and implement innovative capital management, shared infrastructure and other development structures to achieve the optimum customer and commercial outcomes for Newcastle Anglican. Support the Strategic Asset Management program by contributing commercial, risk analysis, and financial guidance to optimise the use of capital assets, managing and reporting on key risks across the project portfolio. Provide project delivery advice and guidance ensuring all development and capital projects are in line with key project measures and exit strategies for decommissioned assets managed effectively. Prepare and manage an annual project plan to identify project pipeline, plan out approvals process, resources and funding. Manage the preparation of all tender packages and construction contracts, including the tender, vetting, negotiation, letting and ongoing oversight of the appointment of all contractors and consultants, to minimise delivery risk to Newcastle Anglican, while ensuring Newcastle Anglican's customer outcomes are achieved. Establish effective working relationships with key leaders and senior managers that result in project delivery practices being delivered to a professional standard. About you: Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or similar Substantial experience as a Project Director of property development and construction projects, with a minimum value of $20M Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role Demonstrated comprehensive high-level knowledge of the Health and Aged Care industries is preferable Comprehensive experience in coordinating a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with advanced interpersonal, communication and customer service skills Who we are: Formerly known as the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle, Newcastle Anglican is a faith-based organisation serving the people of the Hunter and the Central Coast.
