The Asset Management Division is part of the Victorian School Building Authority and is seeking an inspirational Director with expertise and a strong focus on leadership, customer relations, budget management, contract management and business improvement to lead the Programs Branch.
STS-7 Director Programs Branch, Asset Management Division, Victorian School Building Authority Reporting to the Executive Director, Asset Management Division, the role requires working closely and collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including school and sector stakeholders, the Department and regional leadership teams and other key government departments.
This role has a strong focus on customer relations, budget management, contract management and business improvement and has the following accountabilities:
Leading a branch of the Division, ensuring exemplary leadership and people managementManage programs within budget and ensuring policy and program settings are right to achieve the organisation's objectives and leading change processes where needed.Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, particularly in relation to schools and other areas of the Department.Ensuring robust governance, financial and risk management for areas of responsibilityAs an executive member of the VSBA, participate effectively in the development of major resourcing policies and corporate strategies, and disseminate and implement decisions appropriately.Provide authoritative specialist advice and service support to the Executive Director, Ministers, the Deputy Secretary and CEO of the VSBA.For more details regarding this position please see attached position description.
