Your part in The Wesley Hospital team We're seeking an experienced Medical Practitioner to join the Wesley Hospital as Director of Palliative Care.
The Wesley Hospital Palliative Care Unit is a 17 bed unit which supports patients with an active progressive and terminal disease.
You will work collaboratively with the hospital leadership team, and your team, to support Visiting Medical Practitioners, and staff in recognizing and responding to acute deterioration in the hospital setting, and extending and enhancing the provision of The Wesley Hospital Palliative Care Unit to deliver safe, high quality care to patients.
You'll demonstrate extensive clinical and administrative experience in Palliative Care Medicine, ideally with a background in leadership or management of medical teams.
Your experience has equipped you with the interpersonal skills to effectively work with and draw on the services of a multi-disciplinary team, expertly engaging and negotiating with VMP's, nursing and other clinical team members.
