We are seeking an experienced leader to join our health service as Director of Surgery.
This position will be responsible for the clinical governance of the service including maintaining clinical care standards, accreditation standards, clinical incident management, quality improvement activities and mortality and morbidity review in line with contemporary practice.
This is a permanent Full-Time opportunity.
As the Director of Surgery, you will be responsible for enabling high quality, contemporary services integrated within Ipswich Hospital and West Moreton Health.
Liaison and co-ordination with other clinical departments, private partners and state-wide networks is critical, as is the development of models of service within a multidisciplinary team environment.
The role is 0.4 FTE administrative time and 0.6 FTE of clinical time.
