About your role: Ensure delivery of compassionate, quality care, and nursing and midwifery supervision to ensure key performance indicators are met and are in line with policy and legislative requirements. Provide expertise in the effective management of a service budget, personnel and the delivery of services in an acute/community/primary health care facility using a quality framework and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Lead and coordinate quality improvement, understanding the broad responsibility for safety and quality in healthcare and actively participates in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace, in alignment with professional competency standards for nursing and midwifery. Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing, midwifery, operational and administration staff, and monitors staff practices and implementation.
