About the role
NNSW LHD Clarence is seeking a Director of Nursing and Midwifery.
The Director will be responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day operational and strategic leadership and management of nursing and midwifery services to support the delivery of high standards of care for patients and their families in line with professional standards of practice.
Clinician engagement and leadership has been a prominent feature of the public health system for a number of years, where clinician-led clinical standards, safety, and quality improvements have become a major focus.
The Local Health District (LHD) is committed to the strengthening and ongoing involvement and clinician engagement of staff that provide direct patient care in the planning, delivery, improvement, and evaluation of health services.
