Reporting to the Senior Vice Principal, you will be responsible for providing curriculum leadership, managing staff, and overseeing the resources within the Learning Diversity Department. This role is key in developing and implementing whole-school strategies that create an inclusive learning environment, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed and thrive in their educational programs.Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include:Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic direction of the Learning Diversity Department, aligning with the College's broader teaching, learning, and wellbeing goals.Collaboration and Case Management: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external specialists to plan, implement, and manage tailored support for students with identified needs.Program Development and Implementation: Design and oversee enrichment and extension programs for students requiring additional support, ensuring effective assessment and progress tracking.Professional Development: Provide ongoing training and support to staff within the department to enhance their skills in managing diverse learners.Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all practices within the department comply with relevant educational standards and regulations, and report regularly to the Senior Vice Principal.The schoolMLC is a leading independent girls' day and boarding school in the inner east of Melbourne.
