The Director of Change role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer The Star Sydney and will assist the Star Sydney leadership team in driving transformational strategic and cultural change, ensuring change is embraced, understood, well planned and executed, and effective embedment across the organisation. This will include change management objectives of the Remediation Program, along with other Change programs, and will enable projects to meet business objectives by focusing on the people side of change through developing and executing change management plans focusing on communication, engagement and training.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will lead the Change Management team within The Star Sydney to enable faster adoption and proficiency of the changes impacting team members and ensure business results are achieved.
A few of your responsibilities: Apply change management approach and methodology for people impacts caused by projects and change effortsDevelop change management strategy based on business context, including resistance management planning to mitigate or address points of resistanceDevelop targeted change management plans including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training planSupport the execution of plans by managers and business leaders and work with project managers to incorporate change management activities into all projects with business impactCreate and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of successWhat we will be looking for: Bachelor's degree or higher in change management, project management, business or equivalent work experienceIndustry recognised certifications in the practice area and related areas of domain expertise including but not limited to CMI certification and CM methodology (e.g. Kotter, Adkar, PROSCI)At least 10 years' verifiable experience in change project management and CM toolsExperience managing relationships with internal business customers and external providersStrong and verifiable track record of change delivering line with business and project objectivesAbout you: You are highly experienced across all areas of change management and can apply your knowledge and expertise to all stages of the project delivery lifecycle. You confidently manage resources and interdependencies across multiple change steams, with focus on outcomes, timelines and budgets. You constructively challenge the status quo, advocating for change and motivating others through challenges. With a customer centric approach, you have a considered and collaborative approach to achieving outcomes that have a positive impact on our business and guests.
