The Position The Department of Child Protection is seeking to appoint a highly capable executive to build excellence in learning, practice, and professional development.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and leading a team with cultural, clinical, and professional expertise, this newly created role will provide strategic leadership and drive operational excellence to build workforce capability, both internally and across the sector. The Director will develop a strategic Learning and Development Framework, build partnerships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, and embed First Nations cultural capability across the organisation.
The preferred candidate will bring strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience leading training in a large and complex environment, either at a HR, clinical, or education level. Proven ability to lead change and deliver innovative and best practice learning, governance, and reporting is essential, as is the ability to effectively leverage technology and external partnerships to support delivery.
