Director, Information Management and Quality Executive Band 1 NSW Ministry of Health – System Information and Analytics Better data leads to better decisions. This role supports the Ministry of Health to be an effective health service purchaser and system manager through high quality data and information.
This is a rare opportunity to apply your executive leadership skills and experience to enhance and maintain statewide and national Health data and information.
You will be experienced in leading a diverse team, with a combination of strategic and operational leadership skills.
Your ability to communicate effectively and drive new collaborations across the system will be pivotal to succeeding in this role.

Role Outline The Director Information Management and Quality provides strategic leadership and direction for the quality and integrity of state-wide data collections and management of the state-wide data to support the achievement of organisational and government objectives. This includes development of new sources of data and providing NSW leadership on national data development and collection initiatives.
Whilst this is a hybrid role you will be expected to work from our St Leonards office 2-3 days per week.

Extensive knowledge and understanding of data management, governance and health data collections. Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience in information management, performance reporting and performance improvement programs/projects. This is an ongoing, Band 1, Health Service senior executive (PSSE) role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of $211,222 to $235,325 per annum will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
