Director, Inclusive Teaching and Learning The Director, Inclusive Teaching and Learning is responsible for state-wide strategic policy direction, advice and services to support children with disability to learn and thrive, and to improve inclusion and inclusive education across the system.
Key areas of policy and program leadership in the directorate include: leading department disability reform including best practice advice regarding curriculum and personalised learning approaches and pedagogies, funding and resources to support students with disability, specialised education options, health in education settings, complex needs support, professional development and contributions to building workforce capabilities - all contributing to the ongoing improvement of learning and development outcomes for children with disability.
The directorate holds a number of key data sets and monitors and reports progress of learning outcomes for students with disability.
Qualifications & Experience:
An appropriate tertiary qualification in education (essential) and a post-graduate qualification in an appropriate discipline desirable.
Experience leading in a large and complex organisation at an executive level, ensuring the translation of priorities into executed deliverables.

Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
