Details: The Climate Change, Energy and Water Division ensures the ACT remains a national and global leader in addressing climate change, promoting sustainable energy supply and use, and managing water wisely.
The Consumer Energy Resources and Priority Household Transition team within the Division is responsible for developing policy to ensure the ACT's electricity network is fit for purpose as we transition to net zero and developing policy to support priority households to improve energy efficiency and electrify. This includes working locally and with other jurisdictions to ensure the effective integration of consumer energy resources such as solar, batteries and electric vehicles.
We are looking for a dedicated leader to manage the team, who has:
Strong policy development and advice skills Highly developed communication and negotiation skills The ability to lead and develop staff in a hybrid environment Initiative and drive to achieve high standards of performance.
