As the Director, Human Resources, you will contribute to a high-performing organisation by leading the HR function with vision and purpose; providing strategic and tactical advice, and pro-active support to senior leaders and colleagues. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure a contemporary, solutions-focused, HR business partnering client service to maximise the potential of our greatest asset – our people. You will also demonstrate your ability to lead change and be valued for your expertise and judgement when navigating complex, and/or ambiguous situations.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a HR team and make a difference by providing advice and support across all areas of HR including workforce and resourcing planning, organisational change, talent attraction and retention, performance, safety and wellbeing, employee and industrial relations - and more!
The HR Director is responsible for:
• Supporting senior leaders and stakeholders to achieve strategic and workforce outcomes by positioning HR as valued business partners through maintaining indepth knowledge of clients' business context, objectives and related challenges.
• Developing and implementing a diverse range of contemporary strategic workforce initiatives that drive organisational performance and culture.
• Leading change and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Providing expert advice on key HR issues and risks.
• Role modelling integrity, courage, and a commitment to continuous development.
• Representing the department in complex and sensitive negotiations and consultations with government agencies, jurisdictions and in a range of forums and committees.
• Leading team performance and managing resources with agility to ensure alignment with priorities and changing circumstances.
• Ensuring suitable policies, procedures and effective and efficient practices.
• Ensuring industrial and complex HR issues are managed effectively and in compliance with relevant legislation and frameworks.
• Interpreting and communicating data and metrics to support business decisions and to measure the impact of workforce investments on business performance.
• Fostering an inclusive and safe workplace.
• Working with external providers to contribute to objectives and business needs.
