Shape Occupational Health & Safety with the region's largest employer Ongoing full-time position 5 weeks annual leave and a monthly ADO About the role Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director Health, Safety & Wellbeing is responsible for the HS&W function, encompassing: OHS, emergency management, workers compensation and return to work. You will lead a team of 5 HS&W professionals as well as provide leadership to internal and external stakeholders including WorkSafe Victoria, GV Health's workers compensation insurer and employee wellbeing related service providers. You will partner with and play an expert advisory role to the Executive and senior leaders on workforce safety and workers compensation related matters.
You will ensure identification and management of workforce safety risks is effective and that supporting procedures and processes are comprehensive, including the development of viable solutions to address risks.
To be considered for this role, you will be: Experienced in providing strong leadership to internal and external stakeholders to drive enhanced safety systems and wellbeing for employees Passionate and proactive in delivering HS&W outcomes to support employees to go home safely every day An experienced HS&W professional with a proven track record of working both operationally and strategically If qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
