WHY WORK FOR US?Executive appointmentStrategic leadership opportunityAlign your values and expertiseThe newly created executive role of Director, Governance & Legal leads a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of legal and professional standards, governance and information management. In addition to Company Secretariat services, and operating with a high level of autonomy, the appointee will provide expert legal and commercial advice to the Executive Director and leadership team, ensuring that MACS operates within canonical and civil law, and that its rights are adequately protected.With experience as General Counsel in a large organisation - listed or unlisted - you are recognised as a collaborative and collegiate professional and executive leader with outstanding legal, commercial, governance and advisory skills. Your knowledge of relevant legislation, proven judgement, experience in education or related industries, and demonstrated effectiveness engaging with critical stakeholders such as government and regulatory bodies, complement your track record embedding mature risk-based decision making in dynamic organisations.HOW TO APPLYPlease refer to the position description for further details about the role and the Key Selection Criteria.Click APPLY to submit your application.
