About the role
Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global, Engagement and Quality (DVC), the Director Global will provide senior leadership and strategic direction to enhance the university's international profile, foster global partnerships and drive international student recruitment.
Leading a geographically dispersed team, the appointee will provide expert advice on global activities, and develop and deliver partnerships, programs and projects to achieve international student recruitment targets and facilitate global collaboration.
The appointee will drive a high performance culture of excellence and productivity to ensure key targets are met.
As a key member of the extended leadership team, the Director Global will provide trusted advice to the DVC and University executive on emerging international trends and opportunities.

About you
You are a driven leader of global student recruitment and partnership teams, with a track record in achieving revenue and enrolment targets through international recruitment, and transnational and institutional partnership strategies in the higher education sector.
A values-led leader, you have deep experience in developing and negotiating commercial opportunities and new programs that achieve growth and strategic initiatives.
With proven results in establishing and maintaining international education and/or vocational education and training partnerships, you have highly developed analytical and conceptual skills to identify and drive innovative solutions, and the ability to establish and foster collaborative internal and external relationships to deliver whole-of-organisation outcomes.
