Overview: A dynamic start-up is looking for an eLearning development manager to join its Learning and Development team.
This role is crucial for creating engaging, innovative, and effective digital learning solutions that support the company's educational objectives and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities: Lead our digital / e-learning content design and development for our target audience based on effective instructional design methodologies and theories, utilising multimedia technology and authoring tools to craft interactive and compelling courses.Develop, craft, and implement appropriate strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.Implement instructional design methodologies to create educational content that is pedagogically sound and suitable for online learning environments.Manage and lead the course / content development and meet the project deliverables with respect to the timelines, resources, priorities and expectations.Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs; and design and create learning materials including interactive learning videos / demonstrations, textual materials, quizzes, and assessments.Manage the full lifecycle of content development, from concept through design, implementation, review, and iteration based on user feedback and analytics.Conduct periodic feedback / quality assurance sessions with the stakeholders and gauge the content delivery effectiveness for continuous improvement.Ensure compliance of the digital / e-learning contents and delivery methods with the legal codes, standards and best practices, including accessibility requirements.Train, mentor and coach consultants and junior team members.Stay abreast of the latest trends in e-learning / digital learning technologies and instructional design to ensure the company remains at the cutting edge of digital education.Required Qualifications: Proven experience in content development and instructional designStrong knowledge of courseware development software such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar tools.Excellent understanding of learning theories and instructional design models.Creative thinker with the ability to conceptualise new ideas and translate them into engaging learning experiences.Excellent project management skills, capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred Skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science, instructional design, or related field.Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) / Content Management System (CMS)Strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of learning content and adapt strategies accordingly.Benefits: Competitive salaryProfessional development opportunitiesA vibrant and supportive work cultureApplication Process: Applicants are encouraged to submit a detailed CV along with a portfolio of relevant work samples demonstrating relevant experience.
