Director, Finance Systems X 2

Our client is a high profile government directorate that provides a broad range of community services, including public and community housing services, children, youth and family support services and child care centres.
Job Description: These roles reside in a corporate services division that provides budgeting and financial management to the directorate; interfacing between them and Treasury and providing support to business units.
The Director, Finance Systems will provide high level support and advice to the CFO, executives and business units, develop and coordinate the Directorate's finance systems, financial reporting, budget process and performance management and strategically contribute to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities: Managing and delivering key financial and business system development projects.Provision of system development, systems administration and helpdesk support for key business and financial systems.Ongoing system maintenance and development of key systems including the TM1 financial reporting and budgeting system.Providing responsive and customer focussed services to internal business units.Leadership and management of a team that provides advice to business units and provides client focussed support to internal and external stakeholders.Skills and Experience: Experience in leading / delivering finance process or finance systems improvements.Experience working in a range of financial or management accounting roles.Analytical and problem solving skills of a high order and the proven ability to make sound judgements and provide high quality advice.High level communication, interpersonal and representational skills and experience in bringing finance perspectives to decision making.Ability to manage competing priorities and time frames to deliver high-quality financial services.Tertiary qualifications in an accounting / finance discipline.CA or CPA membership is highly regarded. #J-18808-Ljbffr
