An exciting opportunity for a Director Dispute Resolution has come about at the Legal Practice Board (Board).
The Board is a statutory body, responsible for the regulation of legal services in Western Australia and all Western Australian legal practitioners.
The Board aims to be a leader in the area of regulation and we pride ourselves on working with our stakeholders to ensure we have an engaged, active, competent, and ethical legal profession.
About the role Reporting to the Deputy Executive Director, this position leads and manages the Dispute Resolution team, who work with consumers and lawyers to resolve disputes in a professional, effective, and efficient manner, having regard for the law, standards, good industry practice, and the Board's policies and procedures. The role will, from time to time, handle more complex and sensitive matters. It contributes to the strategic development and management of the Division, the leadership team, and the Board.
