A fabulous opportunity now exists for an ambitious corporate services professional to lead the corporate services directorate as Director Corporate Services.
The Opportunity As Director Corporate Services , reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be helping deliver Council's vision of a progressive country locality with a vibrant and welcoming community, rich in both heritage and the natural environment, with a diverse and resilient economy that supports local employment and business.
You will be leading a talented team of professionals covering a broad array of areas including Finance, IT, HR, WH&S, Governance, Records, Economic Development, Arts, Tourism, Customer Service & Service NSW, Library and Visitor Information Centre services.
In addition, you will be responsible for providing professional advice to the GM, Council and Committees on matters under the control of the directorate.
As a member of Executive Leadership Team, you will contribute to the development, review and implementation of organisational strategies, policies, plans, and procedures whilst managing the operations of Council's Corporate Services Directorate to ensure compliance with operational requirements.

About You We are seeking a corporate services professional and as such you may be from a range of backgrounds and hold degree level qualifications in a range of areas including either Business, Finance, Governance, Law, IT, Human Resources, Tourism (or equivalent).

As would be expected of such a role, well developed communication skills are essential as is the ability to develop effective partnerships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholder groups.
