Role Overview: The role would suit an accomplished Director of Data Science with a robust background in establishing and scaling AI-driven data practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in building forecasting and predictive models, particularly focusing on promotions, customer retention, growth, and MarTech. You will spearhead the data science initiatives, building a team while collaborating across departments to unlock actionable insights and drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities: Lead Data Science Initiatives: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for our AI and data science practices, focusing on scaling capabilities and delivering impactful solutions.Forecasting & Predictive Modeling: Design, implement, and refine advanced forecasting and predictive models, with a strong emphasis on promotions, customer retention, growth, and marketing technology (MarTech).Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a high-performing data science team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, sales, and product teams to integrate data-driven insights into business strategies and decisions.Data-Driven Strategy: Utilize data insights to inform and influence key business decisions, with a focus on optimizing customer engagement and maximizing ROI on promotional activities.Innovation & Best Practices: Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI and data science, ensuring our practices remain cutting-edge and effective.Qualifications: Experience: Proven track record in establishing and scaling AI and data science practices, with significant experience in forecasting and predictive modeling.Technical Skills: Expertise in developing models related to promotions, customer retention, growth, and martech.
